Just received my first PCI WiFi card. I never had one in a desktop PC before - good old cabes FTW. But since we’re moving I thought it might come handy, and since they cost less then 10 € on eBay I couldn’t really resist. So I bought one, it looks like this:

As I said: it costs less then 10 € and that includes shipping. And there were only 2 screws preventing me from take a peek inside. Not for long. I took off the cover and I was quite surprised:

Yes. It is a MiniPCI card, usually found in laptops. The whole rest is just a stupid 1:1 adapter. So if you need one I guess that’s the cheapest source at the moment :)
